Cameron Ahalt's Celebration of Life Fund
August 31, 2013 was the first year to award scholarships to 2014 Graduating Waccamaw Seniors: Andi Stevenson, Tyler Elling and Mattie Wyndham from the Cameron Ahalt Celebration of Life College Scholarship Fund. This fund was created in memory and honor of Cameron, who would have graduated from Waccamaw High School in 2014. Our family is very proud to give these scholarships in Cameron's name.
The 6th Annual Cameron Ahalt Memorial Golf Tournament was held on August 30, 2014. Curtis Lawing, Waccamaw High School Class of 2014 and Brady Gantt, WHS Class of 2015 were awarded scholarships in Cameron's name. Once again, our family is very proud to give these scholarships to these outstanding young men.
On September 12, 2015 scholarships from Cameron's Celebration of Life Fund were presented to four students Kinsey Besser, Cy Bishop, Joshua Carlton and Kylee Leizear. Our family is very proud to award these scholarships in Cameron's name.
On September 10, 2016, Sam Averette, Maddie Giarratona (not pictured), Jack King (not pictured) and Kaylee Okun were presented scholarships in Cameron's name. Congratulations and best wishes for a bright future.
Seven students from the 2018 Waccamaw High School college-bound graduating class were presented scholarships from Cameron's Celebration of Life Fund on September 9, 2017. Congratulations to Hunter Lane, JaQuala Robinson, Sara Phillips, Brianna Carlton, Sidney Stuckey, Caleb McClellan and Calee McClellan. Our family is so very proud of each of you and thankful that we are able to continue giving back to the community that Cameron and each of us love.
Ten students from the 2019 Waccamaw High School college-bound graduating class were presented scholarships in Cameron's name on August 25, 2018 at the 10th Annual Cameron Ahalt Memorial Golf Tournament. Congratulations to Caroline Graham, Bo Averette, John Grey Crosby, Casey Pelasara, Will Daniels (not pictured), Weston Stokes, Matthew Brown, Madeline Lanford, Pierson Razzi and Dillon Blanchette. We are so very proud of each of you and wish you the best of luck during your Senior year. Congratulations! (pictures to follow)
